An interest in religious architecture was at the origin of the Procession Large Outdoor Sconce design, from ART + ALCHEMY by Hubbardton Forge. Influenced by a visit to Copenhagen’s Grundtvigs Kirke in the 1980s, our designer was intrigued by the use of forced perspective in a spatial progression that led to the creation of the Procession Collection. The church’s original arch was transformed to a simple rectangular portal made of aluminum. Designed for the outdoors, yet elegant enough for indoor use, as well.
