Turtle Bulb LEDs have an amber color for safer illumination. Per the Florida Wildlife Commission, bulbs must be installed in a shielded or downward directed location that shield the light source from being directly or indirectly visible from the nesting beach. Its long life (36,000hrs = >10x standard bulbs) is ideal for bath lights, pendants, ceiling fixtures, chandeliers, and outdoor lighting applications. Dimming Disclaimer : The 12V and 120V lines of EmeryAllen Turtle Bulbs are all non-dimmable. They are suitable for On/Off applications only.
